We can't say enough about how accommodating and personable the teachers are. They were able to navigate a wide range of ages and personalities with enthusiasm and joy. From our first year there when our daughter was 2 1/2 to the day she graduated at 5, we were confident that she was going to school everyday with people that were looking out for her best interest and truly wanting her to be a more thoughtful and well rounded person. the staff are thoughtful, fun, caring, creative…
We sent our 3 children to Telluride Preschool and we loved the staff who had all been at TPS for many years. They were thoughtful, fun, caring, creative and they each clearly took the time to get to know our kids. The art projects were creative and adorable - we still have many hanging around the house and adorning our Christmas tree each year. The academic lessons were fun and educational, and seemed to sufficiently prepare each of our children for Kindergarten. Stephanie and her staff went to great lengths to create a unique learning environment, often taking the kids out of the building for fun adventures like Bike Day, Preschool Swim Lessons, Ski PE with instructors, and fun hikes around the region. Telluride Preschool also helped our children develop socially - they taught them how to get along well with others and how to be kind and contributing citizens in their community by giving them responsibilities such as cleaning up and sharing games/toys. I feel that Telluride Preschool provided a loving, nurturing, educational and fun environment for all of our children to grow into themselves before entering Elementary School. My oldest daughter is graduating from Telluride High School this year and her best friends are still those that she attended Telluride Preschool with 15 years ago!

We have sent both of our girls to Telluride Preschool. Our oldest attended just over 2 years and loved the teachers and caring environment. She still has friends that she made at Telluride Preschool in her 3rd grade class.
Our youngest has been attending for over a year now, and they have been really patient with her reserved personality. She is definitely coming out of her shell with the help of Lindsay, Jina, Stephanie and other staff. They are great! We will miss them when she graduates in August.
